Congratulations to The Children's Trust which has been selected as the charity to benefit from next year's (2009) Marathon.
The children's charity is celebrating the chance to raise at least £1.5m after being named as the official charity for the 2009 London Marathon. The Children's Trust, at Tadworth Court, Surrey has launched an appeal to recruit 1,000 runners to join its team. It is asking each runner to raise a minimum of £1,500 towards a new £7m rehabilitation centre. The centre, with facilities for 22 children with acquired brain injury, is expected to be completed early in 2009. To join their team, click the logo.
