Fisk Brett's parent company ASI leads the AMS market in the USA

Like ProgressCRM is the first choice for Contact Relationship Management (CRM) and fundraising for charities in the UK, ASI's iMIS software is the leading Association Management System (AMS) both in the UK and USA.

On 19 August 2008 Advanced Solutions International (ASI) announced  its continued dominance in the association management system (AMS) product market. According to the 2008 ‘AMS Association Market Study' conducted by Lehman Associates, the company leads the USA market share with almost 40 percent, an increase over 2007, and ranks highest among major AMS vendors in implementation experience. The data also revealed that iMIS is the most well-known AMS solution among non-customers.

Lehman Associates interviewed and compiled data from national and international associations with budget sizes of $2 million or greater in North America over the first half of 2008. Respondents were asked to provide information on their current use of AMS technology, purchasing process, upgrade factors and implementation experience, as well as product satisfaction levels.

"This is the third year we have conducted this study," said Tom Lehman, president, Lehman Associates. "As the marketplace for AMS products continues to evolve, associations' technology purchasing decisions are more critical than ever before. We believe the study results will enable associations of all budget sizes to make the most strategic AMS software choices for their organisations."

Key findings of the 2008 'AMS Association Market Study'

Lehman Associates' study showed that iMIS holds the greatest market share especially with small to mid-size association customers. iMIS also led other major AMS vendors in the following areas:

  • Meeting expectations for the time of implementation
  • Meeting expectations for the cost of implementation
  • Meeting expectations for the ease of implementation
  • Response time/performance ratings
  • Non-customer product knowledge

"Evaluating and implementing AMS software can often be a daunting task for associations," said Bob Alves, chairman and CEO, ASI. "By setting realistic expectations and then delivering on them, we have found success and improved the quality and strength of our customer relationships. The 2008 AMS Association Market Study validates ASI's commitment to creating customers for life."
