The Place2Be works in schools to provide one-to-one and group counselling, plus a lunchtime drop-in service; as well as dedicated counselling and training for parents and school staff members. The charity has just selected ProgressCRM to manage its fundraising contacts including trusts, companies, major donors, and statutory sources as well as its relations with schools and colleges, local authorities and other agencies.
"As an innovative growing charity, we're now working with 131 schools across the UK, supporting around 40,000 children in areas of great deprivation," said IT Manager Andy Sefton, "but by 2010, we aim to be working in 190 schools with double that number of children, helping with problems such as bereavement, family breakdown, domestic violence, trauma and bullying
