Task Centre enables Progress users to drive efficiency and save costs by connecting organisations, supporters, and information. Task Centre is unique software that allows you to streamline business processes by building powerful, automated tasks that further leverage the potential of Progress, Helplinepro and Netsupporter. With Task Centre you can automate routine or complex tasks, set up alerts to inform people when data changes, and schedule triggers to start a chain of events based on your own criteria.

Task Centre works by watching for changes to data within your database based on your criteria, once the change occurs an alert or trigger sets an event into motion which happens behind the scenes automatically. When you think of the number of fields within Progress that could be watched, and the number of processes you have then the possibilities for Task Centre are phenomenal. Here are a few examples of some tasks:
Fundraising
- Automatically send an email to thank donors for their gifts received.
- Send SMS reminders/updates/appeals to supporters.
- Automate an alert to the Head of Fundraising every time a large gift is inputted into Progress.
Membership
- Automatically email packs to new members who have been entered on to Progress and an email report to the Membership Manager on new members.
- Set up alerts for Membership Managers e.g. if a high value membership is taken out.
- Identify members due for renewal and send them an email reminder.
Finance and IT
- Identify all failed Direct Debits and produce letters to supporters to verify details.
- Integrate systems by automating the import and export of data between them.
- Import web data.
Task Centre is purchased from Fisk Brett as an optional module for Progress. Along with the software you will receive 10 tasks, these are tasks that you can build yourselves or ask Fisk Brett to build for you. More tasks can be added when required and purchased in blocks of 10, 25 or 50.
