Using Royal Mail postcode data, Postcode offers ProgressCRM users fast, affordable and easy access to accurate address entry - from just a postcode. Original Robot technology detects a postcode typed into Progress, automatically delivers the accurate address and inserts it into the selected contact record.

AFD Postcode supplies the following data:

  • Street
  • Locality
  • Town
  • County
  • Mailsort Code
  • Postcode Type (e.g. Large/Small User)
  • STD code
  • Occupancy and Address Type

Occupancy field provided with Postcode gives you an indication of if a particular postcode contains residential properties, organisations, or a mixture of both. The Advanced Type field provides you an indication of the property types found on that Postcode (e.g. numbered, named etc.)

Postcode for ProgressCRM is available in three versions:

  • PostCode - address lookups only,
  • PostCode Plus - address lookups plus additional demographic information including censation data, census code, affluence, lifeStage and additional census information.
  • PostCode Plotter - Address lookups, censation data plus a Plotter facility that can return a UK grid reference for the postcode and show the location of the address on a 1:200,000 scale map. Plotter also provides a nearest locator facility which is ideal if your organisation offers sign-poster advice services.
