TaskCentre is a unique software suite that enables organisations to streamline their processes by building powerful, automated tasks that harness the versatility of ProgressCRM. This powerful extension to ProgressCRM offers a totally scalable, cost-effective 'Business Activity Monitoring' (BAM) solution for organisations of all sizes.

TaskCentre focuses on creating automated or semi-automated tasks that represent all or part of a distinct process. Each task can contain single or multiple interrelated actions.

By building tasks it is easy to design rules that partially or completely replace a manual process. Within each task there is complete control for inputting, formatting and outputting data and information, enabling comprehensive automation of manual processes without losing quality.

A simple example of TaskCentre in action would be to monitor a general enquiry mailbox on an email system for incoming messages. When an email is received, TaskCentre could open the email and check to see if the sender is a known contact in the ProgressCRM database. If the sender is not, a new record could be created and flagged for attention to a specific user or department. If the sender is known, again the message could be flagged for attention and the contact record's event history updated. An email response to the sender could also be triggered automatically as a courtesy, or to send requested information.
