- The ProgressCRM Web Service kits run on a web server - specifically Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0. Therefore you need a server running IIS 6.0 on which to load the ProgressCRM Web Service kit(s). The server also needs to be equipped with the .net framework, version 2.0
- The web server should be located behind a firewall which should be configured to accept traffic only from your website.
- ProgressCRM Web Service kits are licensed per processor.
- It is highly recommended that you protect the server with an SSL certificate.
- ProgressCRM Web Service uses the XML standard to send and receive messages, running on the SOAP protocol.
