Managing Income with ProgressCRM

This course also applies to earlier versions of ProgressCRM know simply as Progress.

Why attend?

ProgressCRM is an effective operational system for the entry and maintenance of all income streams. If you are responsible for the recording of gifts or subscriptions into ProgressCRM then this course will show you how to do so both for single and batch entries. This course goes beyond the standard input of donations and shows you how to manage your financial transactions, report on results and collect payments by Direct Debit.

Before attending

You will need to have completed the Introduction to ProgressCRM course and have an understanding of your organisation's business requirements.

On the day

The course will provide information on:

  • Adding single payments (including amending and cancelling)
  • Adding payments as a batch
  • Direct Debits and Paperless Direct Debits
  • Collecting payments by Credit Card
  • Payments Plans (committed giving)
  • Gift Aid
  • Reporting and analysing income
  • Links to accounting software

Ongoing

This course will empower you to use ProgressCRM to manage all aspects of your income processing and you will have the confidence to use a variety of tools within ProgressCRM. A data analysis course such as Report Writer Level 1 or Using ProgressCRM with Excel would complement this course.
