This course also applies to earlier versions of ProgressCRM know simply as Progress.
Why attend?
ProgressCRM comes with a library of standard reports, which you can open, view and print. However, there may be times that you'd like to customise these or even create your own reports. Report writing is a great skill to acquire and one you won't regret learning! And remember, better analysis of your data leads to better decision-making.
Before attending
Before attending this course all we ask is that you have knowledge of ProgressCRM from attending the Introduction to ProgressCRM course.
On the day
This course will teach you how to:
- Understand the Progress data model, introducing you to the theory of database structure
- Use the fieldname tips in Progress to build your reports
- Use templates to build reports
- Create filters and total fields
- Create calculated fields
- Sort and group data
- Link in additional tables
Ongoing
After returning to the office you will enjoy building your own reports and sharing these with others. You will find it much quicker and easier to compile your own reports and therefore analyse your data. After this course, you should consider Report Writer Level 2 or the Using Progress with Excel course.
