Why attend?
Once you've learnt your report writing skills and enjoyed putting together some of your own reports back in the office you'll naturally be keen to learn more and be ready to understand more of the complex techniques of report writing! This course is more practical in nature than the first and will enable you to create your own reports which you can then save to CD and take back to your office to use immediately.
Before attending
For this course you'll need to have attended Report Writer Level 1, be experienced in using ProgressCRM, and ideally you'll have kept up with report writing back at the office. Don't forget to think about the reports that you'd like to create so you can make the most of this course and create them on the day.
On the day
The course will run as follows:
- Creating new, blank reports
- Linking to other ProgressCRM tables
- Sorting and grouping data at more than one level
- Creating wildcard queries and pre-processed totals
- Designing summary reports
- Using calculated fields and functions
- Creating graphs

After this course you will be proficient in writing even the most complex of reports, helping you to really drill into your data and turn it into meaningful information.
